Lisa Busby has been a juried artist, painter and photographer for over 25 years. Her work ranges from captivating portraits and still-life paintings to whimsical abstract pieces. She enjoys painting light and shadow and works to capture the world as she sees it. Lisa loves working with live subjects and her preference is to study them in their true environment with a personal detailed photo shoot, bringing those photos to life through paintings in her studio. Lisa’s works hang in homes across the South and from the Northeast US to the Heart of Texas. She is a member of the Mississippi Oil Painters Association, American Impressionist Society, as well as the Portrait Society of America. Lisa lives in Jackson, MS with her husband, Pat.
