Mississippi Artist, Darlene Scott, captures moments in time using expressive color and texture in her artwork. Finding inspiration from nature and the ever-changing landscape, she strives to capture the essence of things not only seen, but felt, and translate, allowing the painting to tell the story. Darlene has studied with accomplished artists and works in different art mediums which include: acrylic, mixed media, watercolor, oil, and pastel. She has participated in numerous shows and won several awards in juried competitions. Her work can be found in both private and corporate collections. Darlene is a member of the Mississippi Artists Guild (Juried), Pastel Society of Mississippi, Pastel Society of America (Juried), and the National Watercolor Society of America.
