Born in 1973 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, Angelika immigrated to Germany at age 18. She quickly learned to speak German and there studied graphic design, web design, and visual communication. In 2002, she and her husband moved to the United States and made Noxapater, Mississippi their new home. She began painting and was inspired by the surrounding landscape. Her oil paintings are of a lush, sunlight-filled world where a strong sense of tranquility surrounds you.
